Terang Medical Clinic Billing Policy

Terang Medical Clinic is a private billing practice – we provide discounted rates for pension and concession card holders.

Telephone/Telehealth consultations are required to be paid upon receipt of our invoice.

Consultations for chronic disease management plans and mental health care plans will be bulk billed.

Please discuss with your Doctor or our Practice Manager if you are experiencing financial hardship.

Medicare rebates often do not cover the full cost of providing high-quality care. The Government indexation of Medicare rebates has not kept pace with CPI – this is placing unsustainable pressure on General Practice and limits our ability to bulk bill patients.

Payment is required on the day of consultation – we accept cash, credit card or EFTPOS payments. Payment via bank deposit is available upon request.
