Dr Timothy Fitzpatrick

MBBS, DRANZCOG, FRACGP, Masters of Family Medicine

After graduating in 1984, Dr Fitzpatrick worked as a General Practitioner in various urban and rural positions, as well as in Britain. He has worked at Terang Medical Clinic since 1990. Dr Fitzpatrick's special interests include family medicine, sports medicine, hospital care, obstetrics and anaesthetics. Dr Fitzpatrick has regular involvement in the supervision and training of medical students and is an accredited Lead Supervisor of GP Registrars.

Dr Jacqueline Altree

BA(Hons), BSc, BMBS, FRACGP

After graduating from Deakin Medical School, Warrnambool, in 2011, Dr Altree completed an internship and residency at Royal Adelaide Hospital. In 2016 Dr Altree gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Altree's special interests include preventative health, patient education and a passionate commitment to patient advocacy in regard to mental and sexual health. Dr Altree is involved in the supervision and training of GP Registrars and Deakin Medical School students.

Dr Johanna Moloney

MBBS, DCH, ACEM, RANZCOG, FRACGP

Dr Moloney (nee Kelly) studied at Monash University, graduating with her MBBS in 2012.
She worked at Barwon Health (now University Hospital Geelong), where she completed her Internship, as well as her Diploma of Children's Health, Certificate of Emergency Medicine and her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Moloney has worked in General Practice in the Grampians and Southwest Victorian regions. She gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.
Dr Moloney's special interests are in Women's Health, Children's Health and Emergency Medicine.

Dr Stefanie Hammond

BBiomedSc, MBBS, CertWH, SHCP, FACRRM

Dr Hammond is a Rural Generalist (FACRRM) with Advanced Skills in Emergency Medicine. She works as a GP in Terang and as an Emergency Consultant at Warrnambool Emergency Department.

Dr Hammond's special interests include neurodiversity, gender-affirming healthcare, and skin lesions.

Dr Hammond follows a "health at all sizes" approach, supporting people of all body types. She also recognises that sometimes medications are needed to help with weight loss when medically necessary.

Dr Hammond's goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive evidence-based care for every patient. Her preference is to have an ongoing relationship with regular scheduled reviews. You cannot book with Dr Hammond online as she likes to manage her own bookings and maintain availability for her regular patients.

Dr Hammond is also able to provide non-directed pregnancy counselling, including medical termination of pregnancy if required. She understands this can be a difficult topic, but please do let our admin staff know if this is the reason for your booking so we can prioritise your appointment.

Outside of clinical medicine Dr Hammond is passionate about medical education and runs training workshops for ACRRM registrars. She also enjoys spending time with her family, and enjoying the produce from her partner's excellent gardening skills.

Dr Kevin Chang

BSc., MD

Dr. Kevin Chang, MD is joining our practice as a GP Reg. Originally from California, he has called Australia home for the past 10 years.

Dr. Chang has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Southern California and used to work in Data Analytics while he completed Pre-Medicine coursework at Harvard University Extension and San Francisco State University. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at University of Queensland with clinical rotations at Ochsner in New Orleans , Louisiana , Princess Alexandria and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Chang has spent the last few years at Cairns Base Hospital, Innisfail and Mossman Hospital where he completed Internship and continued employment as a Junior, Senior, and Principal House Officer, completing rotations in Emergency, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Surgery and Rural Medicine.

We welcome Dr. Chang to Terang after completing GPT 1 at Apollo Bay Medical Clinic.

Dr Brooke Healey

BSc., MBBS, Clinical Dip. Palliative Care

Dr Brooke Healey grew up in New Zealand before moving to Australia to study medicine. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Brooke worked in Geelong, Ballarat and Warrnambool, helping to develop her love of the beach. Brooke has completed a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine and is currently also working alongside the SWHC Palliative Care team. In her spare time, Brooke loves spending time with her family and many dogs, cooking and tending to her vegetable garden.

Dr Olivia Gubbins

MD

Dr Olivia completed her medical degree at Flinders University, South Australia, in 2018 and completed her intern year in South West Healthcare, Warrnambool. She remained at South West Healthcare for her residency as well as when she embarked on her GP Fellowship training in 2021.

Dr Olivia left South West Healthcare to start her family mid-2021, returning to work in early 2022 when she joined Ochre Medical Jamieson, Warrnambool. After 2 years at Ochre Medical, Dr Olivia moved to Seaview Medical, Warrnambool in early 2024, before welcoming her second child in June, after which she joined the Terang Medical Clinic in early 2025.

Dr Olivia and her family reside on their family farm in the greater Mortlake area. As such she has a strong knowledge of the health impacts that our agricultural community experience and is invested in the region long term.

Dr Olivia particular interest is remaining a general GP to better serve the wider community as access to medical care grows increasingly difficult.

Dr Heather Han

BS, MD

Dr Han grew up in South Korea and Canada prior to moving to the US for her undergraduate degree. She was working in genetics research for neurodegenerative diseases when an opportunity arose to live on a small Northern Gulf Island. Inspired by the local GP there, she commenced her studies in medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2017 then went on to work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Outside of work, you might see Dr Han running or cycling if she hasn't managed to head out bush for a hike.

Mrs Melissa Callesen

B.Nurs, GradCert PHC, M.Nurs (NP)

Graduating with a Nursing degree in 2012, Melissa Callesen has dedicated over a decade to healthcare, focusing on primary health care. In 2020, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care, followed by a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) in 2024.

Melissa, as an endorsed Nurse Practitioner, can perform a range of advanced healthcare services. These include assessing and diagnosing health problems, ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations, formulating and assessing response to treatment plans, prescribing medicines and referring to other health professionals within her individual areas of competence. She works both independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Her specialist interests within primary health care include immunisation, chronic disease management and women's health. Emphasising preventative healthcare, she educates and empowers patients to improve their health. Committed to evidence-based practice, Melissa provides compassionate, patient-centered care and remains updated on the latest healthcare developments.
